Terry Rogers began his career in Real Estate in 2007 when he joined the Keller Williams Lake Norman Cornelius office. Terry is driven to success in whatever he does and took his first listing within 3 days of being in the real estate business. After only two years in the business Terry was selected to be a member of the Agent Leadership Council for his office.
He has also spent time as the Broker In Charge for an affiliated business center and an interim Broker in Charge for the Cornelius market center.
Terry still maintains a leadership role within his office as the market center’s Compliance Officer and is a full time real estate broker.
In 2020 Terry developed and began teaching a Real Estate Agent Safety Course drawing from his many years in Law Enforcement and Security dating back to 1980. His 15-year Law Enforcement and Security background is very comprehensive. Terry went through the basic law enforcement training academy while at McGuire Nuclear Station where he became Special Police Officer. Additionally, he spent several years as a volunteer member of the Charlotte Police Department Reserve program patrolling the streets of Charlotte on his days off. He was hired by the City of Charlotte in 1983 as an Airport Police Officer and a few years later promoted to Airport Police Lieutenant where he served as the third shift supervisor.
Terry also spent several years as a volunteer with the North Carolina State Defense Militia, which was at the time, a reserve component of the North Carolina National Guard, where he served as 1st.Lieutenant and Company Commander with the 70th regiment.
