Heather launched her career in financial services as a securities trader in Boston, quickly advancing to fund management at a boutique private equity firm. With an appreciation for sound investments and a successful track record, Heather moved to Florida and became a REALTOR® in 2004, specializing in helping investors purchase beachfront condos from South Beach to West Palm Beach.

Shortly after her twin daughters were born in 2007, Heather relocated to North Carolina and spent five years as a stay-at-home mom. While at home, Heather co-founded and co-hosted Naptime Radio, a “witty and intelligent podcast for moms… and some dads” which ran for nine years and reached number one on the parenting podcast charts.

Heather experienced a personal setback in 2012. Dealing with the anxiety of a divorce, becoming a single mother, not having worked (outside the home) for five years and having allowed all her financial and real estate licenses to expire, she was unsure how to move forward.

Having always had a passion for real estate, Heather passed the real estate exam (again), joined Keller Williams, and reignited her real estate career. She immediately signed up for BOLD where she learned that, in order to reach her goals, she must overcome her limiting beliefs, master her mindset, control her calendar and be intentional about personal growth. 

Heather is 3 times BOLD, a 10-time capper, top 20% of her office, a KW Luxury agent and, on a personal note, recently remarried. Heather has been able to reach nearly all her goals, both personal and professional, every year since joining Keller Williams.

Inspired by her own experiences and the transformative powers of mindset and self-mastery she learned at Keller Williams, Heather is passionate about empowering people to become the best possible version of themselves, regardless of their circumstances. Heather’s mission is to enable individuals to break free from limiting beliefs and embrace their true potential.

As a MAPS Life Coach and National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Melanie Haro, MA, NBC-HWC helps KW associates, and their families achieve better mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. Melanie’s broad range of experience over twenty years in the mental health field centers on a singular passion: happiness. From counseling gang-affiliated youth through the juvenile drug court system, to teaching therapists the art of happiness, to coaching business owners toward higher levels of health and wellbeing, she knows that happiness doesn’t happen by chance. It is a skill – an art – that can be developed, practiced and LIVED. 

After earning her master’s in clinical psychology in 2004, Melanie became a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and certified Expressive Arts Therapist. Along with her private practice and group facilitation in several Malibu treatment centers, Melanie taught and developed courses for one of the largest mental health training companies in California. In 2013, she and her husband Chris moved their real estate business to Keller Williams Hilton Head, SC, where Chris continues to serve as a full-time agent, former ALC member, Capper Hall of Famer, 2020 Market Center Cultural Icon and the Relocation Community Ambassador for the Carolinas Region. That same year, Melanie shifted from counseling to coaching. She guides clients and workshop participants toward improved happiness and wellbeing using the evidence-based tools and approaches of Positive Psychology. In 2023, she realized her longtime goal of joining MAPS as a Life Coach.  “Happiness, not money or prestige, should be regarded as the ultimate currency – the currency by which we take measure of our lives.” ~ Tal Ben-Shahar

Heather grew up in North Raleigh and, after attending school in the Pacific Northwest, returned to North Carolina to start her first career as a teacher, teaching middle school math and science. She left public education to focus on her growing family and then began her real estate career in 2019.

Heather’s passion for education remains a key focus. For the second year, she is a member of her firm’s Agent Leadership Council, where she currently heads the Agent Education committee, having previously headed the Finance and Wealth Building committee. Heather is also an avid public speaker and instructor in the real estate and small business space. She is actively working towards becoming a certified KWU trainer with the goal of becoming KW Master Faculty and BOLD coach. She is 6 times BOLD, and firmly believes in the opportunities that education and coaching can provide in real estate and life.

In 2019, Heather was named Rookie of the Year and has sold over $21 million in real estate. Heather has been with Keller Williams for her entire real estate career and recently transitioned from an individual agent to a husband and wife team. Heather manages and leads Heather Hope Realty Group representing buyers, sellers, investors, tenants, and landlords in the greater Raleigh Durham metro, servicing central North Carolina and the Triangle area.

Before starting a career in real estate in 2017, Cory worked as a professional pedicab driver in San Francisco as well as in the beer and wine industry. Having been told by 3 people in one week he should get his real estate license, he made the jump and never looked back. With no formal background in finance or real estate his greatest fear was that no one would take him seriously as a real estate agent and that he would have to change who he was as a person in order to succeed. Fast forward to today and he’s built a business based on authenticity, education, and building deep connections with his clients.

Cory joined KW and founded his company, Homegrown Real Estate, in 2018. To date, he’s grossed over $50 million in sales and has truly come to embrace the culture and educational opportunities that abound within Keller Williams.  He has been a proud member of the Agent Leadership Council in his Market Center, a BOLD graduate, and most recently became a certified Quantum Leap instructor.  Cory has always felt like an educator at heart and is working to become a certified KWU trainer and eventually International Master Faculty.

Cory believes that one of the greatest gifts of a real estate career is the ability to take it with you everywhere you go.  An avid traveler, Cory has created real estate opportunities in Portugal and Indonesia and has plan to continue building relationships and referrals partners with KW agents abroad.  Cory is a father to two children (with a third on the way!) and husband to Alison whom he met at Oktoberfest while on a bike trip from Scotland to Turkey. Cory is an avid reader and podcast junky.  When he’s not working on his real estate business, Cory plays in a competitive pool league and recently discovered a love for improv comedy.
