Melissa Wells is joining CES to assist in the exciting growth and increasing administrative needs of the company.   Beginning April 1, Melissa will be your new “go to” person for the manuals, class scheduling, and general questions regarding your classes. Liz will still be involved in the expansion efforts of CES and will be working with Melissa to keep our back office running as smoothly as possible for all of you.

Melissa is KW all the way.  She joined Keller Williams as a licensed realtor in 2005, moved into the front desk position for the KW Brevard office in 2006, became BIC six months later, and then served as MCA for the Brevard MC from 2007-2010.  With Brevard now a Business Center, she has continued to serve as BIC and office manager for the 20+ agents currently working there.  I can’t tell you how fortunate we are to have someone so familiar with the KWU curriculum and website for training purposes.  She will also be able to contact you directly on a regular basis to insure you have what you need for a GREAT class and remind you of things we need to keep the program running, (ie. your course selections, your sign in sheets).  So get ready for Melissa to become your “newest best friend” and I am confident that the impact from CES will be even greater for our Market Centers in the coming months.

Melissa is married with two children, Johnathon age 16 and Jordan age 11. She enjoys scuba diving, rock climbing, and loves her two lab mix puppies.  Whew, I have a feeling CES will be a piece of cake for this talented, busy woman.

Once again, Liz and I are very grateful to have her on the team and I know you will all welcome her warmly as she begins her regular communication with you on April 1.  Of course remember that Liz and I are still there to help you although we are confident that before long you will be turning to Melissa VERY soon as we know that what she is doing for us is truly her GIFT ZONE.

We are looking forward to 2013 being our BEST yet!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO KEN BRANDON, JACKSONVILLE, NC AND TERRY PADALINO, COLUMBIA, SC

Carolinas Educational Services had a banner first year!!!  1877 KW agents and 182 guests attended the 152 classes that took place in our 19 participating Market Centers during 2012.  Winning an extra day of training in 2013 is Ken Brandon, Jacksonville, NC Market Center for bringing the most guests–52 total.  Way to go Ken!!!  Also, Terry Padalino won an extra day for having the highest number of attendees at 208. In addition he had 25 guests. Great job Terry!!!  Special recognition as well to Mt. Pleasant MC with 190 KW attendees/25 guests, Cary MC with 192 attendees/13 guests, and New Bern MC with 23 guests.

CES will be continuing to make an impact in 2013 with 28 Market Centers participating in the program.  Already in January we have had 25 classes. We are looking forward to CES playing an active part in growing the productivity and profitability of our Market Centers as well as changing the lives of the students.  A special Thank You to our fantastic faculty; Bill Middleton, J. Michael Manley, James Shaw, Jenny Linich, Jim Krautkremer, Joseph Klosik, Kent Temple, Mark Brenneman, Mike Zullo, Pamela Temple, Sherrie Puffer, Suzanne Ludwig, and Tammi Juengst. Carmen Hunter has joined the team to assist the market centers in promoting the classes directly to the agents, and offer other support to the program as it grows. And a special thanks to my right arm, Liz Rourke, for helping to make CES everything it is today!!!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday with family and friends and that you are reflecting back on all the blessings of 2012.   As I think about my past year, I just have to tell all of you how wonderful it has been to watch the impact that bringing KWU classes into the Market Centers has been, and seeing the light bulbs come on for so many.  Seeing the growth of our faculty has been an added bonus as I see trainers like Jim K, and J. Michael Manley (just to name a couple) develop their passions and strive to take their training to higher levels. I’m excited for our new trainers to experience this excitement and growth as well.

Check the Training Calendar regularly for the newest information on classes being offered. Encourage your agents to use this site to develop their career development plans and take advantage of the training opportunities in other participating market centers.

ANNOUNCING additional CES support staff. Please welcome…

Carmen Hunter – Carmen is talented and techie! She is building a database of the agents in each of the participating market centers in order to promote the classes directly to the potential attendees; thus, relieving the market center staff of some of the work and stress. Our goal is to make this training program easy for the leadership and highly effective!

Lyn Stewart – Lyn will be working with Liz and the market center leadership to schedule classes and make sure the materials are distributed and questions are answered. I know you’ll enjoy working with her.

Liz Rourke will continue to manage the operations of the program, maintain the Website and support the market centers and Holly. We are grateful to be of service to you!
