Katie Prendergast began selling residential real estate with Keller Williams Professionals in Western North Carolina in 2012. She grew her business as an individual agent for 3 years before forming her team, Firefly Realty, in 2015. As the owner of a top producing team, Katie learned to specialize in working with sellers, bringing dynamic leadership and coaching to her team members, mastering the recruiting and hiring process, and managing business finances. With a background in professional counseling, Katie brings unique skills to her team and clients. She excels in clear communication, win-win negotiations, training and consulting, and team building.
Katie is passionate about teaching and training and has gained experience as a local and regional ignite instructor and market center script trainer. Katie writes and presents material for local market centers and teams, and had the opportunity to present to the KW Poland region in 2020. Katie is a 6 time BOLD graduate and serves in her market center as a member of the ALC. She was the 2019 recipient of the Al Braddock Spirit Award, earned for her demonstration of “behind the scenes” KW culture.
Katie is also a mother to three young children and she particularly enjoys opportunities to offer connection and empowerment to women in business who desire to create a business-life counter balance that really works. During her family time, Katie enjoys hiking, camping, biking, and eating good food.
